Basic Introduction to Safeguarding, Abuse and Neglect (NSCP Course)

The aim of this e-learning is to raise awareness regarding safeguarding children and to remind you of your responsibilities whenever you have a concern about a child.

What you can expect to learn:

·        What is meant by the term safeguarding children

·        The various types of intervention and their thresholds

·        Some signs and symptoms of possible abuse

·        What you should do if you have a concern about a child's welfare

This module will take you approximately 40 minutes to complete.

This course is for anyone who needs an understanding of safeguarding including learning about the different forms of abuse and what to do if you have a concern.

*Please ensure you only take this course if do not need the more detailed course Safeguarding Children from Abuse and Neglect. Please do not take both courses.
