Graded Care Profile 2 (GCP2)

Northamptonshire has purchased the licence for practitioners to use the Graded Care Profile 2 Neglect Assessment Tool in both North and West Northamptonshire.

All practitioners who wish to use the tool must be trained by qualified GCP2 trainers. No staff can use the GCP2 without being trained.

By attending this course, you will:

• Become licensed to use the GCP2
• Consolidate your existing knowledge in relation to neglect
• Understand how GCP2 fits in with local practice

In the process the course will go through:

• What is neglect?
• What is its impact?
• Why is it difficult to assess?
• What the GCP2 is and how it can help you in your practice
• Allow you to get practical and hands on with the tool before using it in practice.

To become a qualified practitioner, you must attend and complete the whole day course.
